CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- With the presidential debate just hours away, one U.S. Congressman is weighing in.
Eighteenth District Congressman Aaron Schock says he expects many people to be tuning in to the televised debate, including himself.
Schock says the Republican primary debates were some of the most watched debates in United States history and says--in his opinion--Governor Mitt Romney has drastically improved with each debate.
"This is the first of three debates so I don't think everything is going to be decided on this debate," said Schock. "Certainly, not everything is decided based on debates. More than rhetoric, more than talk, I think people want results, and I think at the end of the day, I think this election will be a referendum of President Obama's record in office."
You can watch the presidential debate Wednesday evening, starting at 8 p.m. on WEEK.
