PEORIA, Ill. -- Republican Aaron Schock will keep his seat as the 18th District Congressman.
Schock beat out his democratic opponent, Democrat Steve Waterworth.
Congressman Schock says he already knows what's going to be on his agenda in his next term.
"Obviously, we've got a shortage of work," said Schock. "We are about to hit a fiscal cliff at the end of this year with the largest tax increase in American history, set to go into effect January 1. Second is entitlement reform; I'm putting together a plan to save social security and medicare from going bankrupt. I'm looking forward to playing a role and being the voice for my district."
Schock has represented central Illinois in Congress since 2009.
