Another central Illinois government administrator is leaving his post.
Washington City Administrator, Bob Morris announced today that he plans to retire in June.
He has served as Washington's City Administrator since 2002.
Morris will assist the Mayor and City Council in recruiting a candidate pool to fill the vacancy.
His retirement will end a 35 year career in local government.
You'll recall Peoria County is looking for a new administrator after Patrick Urich announced his departure, Peoria's city manager position is vacant and Pekin's former city manager Dennis Kief retired at the end of 2010.
