WASHINGTON, DC -- The White House has issued detailed reports on how the possible sequestration would impact each of the 50 states.
The report says that in Illinois, the state would lose more than $33 million in funding for primary and secondary education--with 460 teachers losing jobs.
The report also says Head Start would be cut for some 2,700 children as well.
$1.4 million in job search assistance could also be cut.
