The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces upcoming traffic signal work at the following Washington intersections:
Tuesday, May 17th
US 24 Business and Cummings Ln. - 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
US 24 Business and IL 8 (McClugage Rd.) - 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
These intersections will be controlled by flashing red light signals and stop signs while the work is being completed. Crews will be installing flashing yellow arrow signals at these locations.
IDOT is equipping more than 100 intersections in Peoria and surrounding communities with flashing yellow arrow signals.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
