Starting Tuesday, motorists should be aware of intermittent lane closures on I-155, approximately five miles south of Hopeadle in Tazewell County.
These closures are necessary for bridge patching at the overpass carrying County Highway 8 over I-155 and will be in effect for approximately one month.
IDOT reminds drivers to please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
