A $130,000 I-55 road project will begin June 13, says IDOT.
Weather permitting, road crews for Surface Preparation Technologies, Inc. will be placing rumble strips into existing shoulders near the Logan County line to southwest of Bloomington and from northwest of Normal to the Lexington interchange.
IDOT says the anticipated completion date is June 24.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution in this and every work zone.
