PEORIA, Ill -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that motorists will encounter intermittent lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on I-74 at the Murray Baker Bridge from October 15th until approximately Wednesday, October 24th.
These weekday lane closures are necessary for a routine inspection of the bridge and will begin in the westbound lanes, then move to the eastbound lanes.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
