PEORIA, Ill. -- The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced Tuesday that daytime lane closures will resume Friday, March 30th on IL 8 (Washington St.) in East Peoria from Oakwood Rd. to east of Sunrise Ave.
The lane closures are necessary for final landscaping work to be completed. The work is expected to be completed in early June.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while in work zones.
