A portion of IL 29 will be reduced to one lane, starting Thursday, August 11.
The lane reduction will be in effect jut north of Chillicothe at Hart Lane.
The intermittent lane closures are necessary for placement of a new turn lane onto Hart Lane. This work is scheduled to be completed by mid to late October.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
