Repair work on the Keokuk Junction Railway crossing will result in the temporary closing of a portion of IL 9, just east of its intersection with US 24.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the area will be closed to motorists, beginning at 8 am on Monday, October 10 until 6 pm on Friday, October 14.
Detours will be in place, utilizing IL 29, I-474, and US 24.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
