Beginning Monday, September 12, intermittent lane closures will be in effect on IL 6.
The closures will span from US 150 (War Memorial Drive) to approximately two miles north.
Closures are necessary for patching, milling, and resurfacing work.
All four IL 6 ramps at the US 150 interchange will also undergo patching work. IDOT says all ramps will remain open during this time.
Completion for the road work is tentatively scheduled for the end of November.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
