PEORIA, Ill. -- Motorists should avoid the eastbound lane of Forrest Hill between Sheridan and Bigelow.
That stretch of road has been closed due to a water leak at Bootz and Forrest Hill.
As repairs are made, the lane will be reopened, dependent on the extent of repairs.
Local traffic should detour to the South at or before Ellis and can reenter Forrest Hill via Bigelow.
