PEORIA, Ill. -- A contractor for the new Peoria Riverfront Museum will be reducing Liberty Street to one lane, starting Wednesday, April 18.
That lane reduction will be in effect between Washington Street and Water Street.
Traffic will be able to turn from Washington onto Water for several days while surface demolition takes place.
However, traffic will be shifted to one side and re-opened to two way traffic in approximately one week.
Contractors caution motorists to watch for closure signs and plan your route accordingly.
Please drive safe through this and all construction zones.
