The Peoria Highway Department says a section of a Mapleton road will be closed just a bit longer than expected.
Mapleton Road at 1st Street to Maple Ridge Road will continue to be closed on October 20 through October 21.
The closures will be in effect at 8 am to 4 pm, with the possibility of an overnight closure.
Road crews will be working on replacing a cross-road culvert.
