Starting Monday, September 12, intermittent lane closures on the Murray Baker Bridge will be in effect for approximately one month.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the closures are necessary for bridge washing and will occur daily, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists should slow down and use extreme caution while driving through this and every work zone.
