The City of Peoria reminds motorists that alternative routes should be considered if traveling on New York Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
The closure between Armstrong Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue is necessary for a new water main installation.
This block will be closed during the day an reopened each evening.
As always, please use extreme caution when driving through work zones.
