NORMAL, Ill. -- Roadwork on a section of I-39 may slow interstate traffic down, starting September 10.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces that, weather permitting, pavement patching will take place on I-39,from the intersection of I-55 to the Livingston County line.
Work is expected to be complete Sept. 25, 2012.

Motorists are advised to slow down and drive carefully through this and all work zones.
