PEORIA, Ill. – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces that the portion of West Cameron Ln. from US 24/IL 9 to where it intersects with IL 9 at the McNaughton Bridge in Peoria County will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 17th.
This is necessary for bridge deck pouring to be completed at the bridge carrying US 24/IL 9 over Lamarsh Creek.
Also, Wheeler Rd. near Lamarsh Creek (just west of US 24/IL 9 and Cameron Ln. intersection) will be closed Tuesday, October 18th for concrete patching work along US 24/IL 9 at the bridge over Lamarsh Creek.
Both closures are weather dependent.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
