PEORIA, Ill. -- Motorists should be aware of several road projects that may disrupt normal traffic flow.
Throughout this week, road crews will be making sewer repairs between Reservoir Boulevard, Leroy Avenue and Finnell Avenue.
Motorists should anticipate possible road closures on residential roadways.
Additionally, crews will be repairing utility manholes in downtown Peoria, which will result in the closure of the parking lane and one lane of traffic along the north side of Hamilton Boulevard and Monroe Street.
This closure will begin Wednesday, January 15, and is expected to last several days.
Traffic heading South West on Monroe Street will not be allowed to turn either left or right onto Hamilton Boulevard during this closure.
