PEORIA, Ill. -- A portion of IL 116 will be temporarily closed Wednesday, August 8 from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m, says the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The closure applies to the area of IL 116 between County Road 3200E and County Highway 20 east of Minonk in Woodford County.
This temporary closure is necessary to get a crane used to install wind turbines across the road.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
