PEORIA, Ill. -- On Friday, April 6, Main Street in Peoria will be closed between Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street, starting at 6 a.m.
During that time, a contractor will be replacing the cooling towers on top of the Peoria County Courthouse. Cranes will be lifting equipment in that area, resulting in the temporary road closure.
Businesses along this block will be accessible via sidewalk only. No vehicle traffic will be allowed during the time of the closure.
