The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced several work sites of which motorists to be aware.
The eastbound right lane of I-74 in the vicinity of I-155 will be closed, Saturday, May 7 due to drilling work that will begin, Monday, May 2 and continue throughout the week.
Weather permitting, an overhead sign structure will be installed on westbound US 24 just before the northbound IL 116 ramp.
Because of this, a lane of traffic will be closed and result in delays of up to fifteen minutes.
Finally, intermittent lane closures will be in effect along east and westbound US 34 from I-74 to the Warren County line, beginning May 3.
A Concrete patching project will be underway and overnight lane closures are expected.
