CANTON, Ill. -- Governor Pat Quinn announced Thursday a $1.2 million capital investment to resurface a portion of Illinois Route 9 in Fulton County.
This project will help traffic flow and maintain a major road in Fulton County,” Governor Quinn said. “It will also employ a number of construction workers, which will help the local economy.”
The project involves milling and resurfacing of almost seven miles of Illinois Route 9, from Canton to U.S. Route 24 in Banner. The Illinois Department of Transportation will manage the project.
