BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Bloomington’s Parks Maintenance division will be closing a portion of Constitution Trail on Thursday, August 23 for resurfacing work.
The trail will be closed from Empire Street to the north side of the bridge over Emerson Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday. There are access points at both locations for pedestrians to exit or enter the trail.
If the maintenance goes as scheduled, this section of Constitution Trail should be re-opened for use by the end of the day.
