PEORIA, Ill.-- The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces upcoming traffic signal work at the intersection of IL 40 and Jefferson Ave in Peoria on Friday June 10th from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The intersection will be controlled by flashing red light signals while the work is being completed. Crews will be installing flashing yellow arrow signals at this location.
IDOT is equipping more than 100 intersections in Peoria and surrounding communities with flashing yellow arrow signals.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
