PEORIA, Ill. – A portion of US 24 (SW Washington St.) in Peoria will be closed to motorists beginning Tuesday, January 10.
The closure will be in effect for the stretch of road between Warren St. and South St.
Crews will be replacing fire main valves in the vicinity and the eastbound driving (right) lane of US 24 will be closed during this time.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the road work will continue until approximately Friday, January 20.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
