The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces upcoming traffic signal work at the following Peoria intersection:
Tuesday, January 25th
IL 40 (Knoxville Ave.) and Wilhelm Rd. / Mossville Rd.
8:30 am to 12:00 pm
The intersection will be controlled by flashing red light signals while the work is being completed.
This is part of the District 4 Flashing Yellow project in which 31 intersections along IL 40 and US 150 will be modified to a flashing yellow arrow instead of a solid green for left turns. In total, IDOT is equipping more than 100 intersections in Peoria and surrounding communities with flashing yellow arrow signals.
Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
