BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Starting Monday, February 20, Fort Jesse Road between Landmark Drive and Towanda Avenue will be closed.
The City of Bloomington Water Department said the closure is due to water main repairs in the area.
This segment of Fort Jesse Road will be closed to thru traffic until city crews have fixed the water main.
Motorists are encouraged to take an alternative route, which includes College Avenue to Towanda Avenue.
