PEORIA, Ill -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday that work will begin on IL 89 approximately one mile north of IL 71 in Putnam County on May 14.
The project will replace two structures over Allforks Creek, north of Granville. Work is expected to continue through the end of the year.
IL 89 will be down to one lane throughout the duration of the project with barrier wall in place, which will result in restricted widths. Signals will be up to help direct traffic.
