A public meeting regarding road improvements on US 150 from Veteans Drive in East Peoria to west of Detroit Avenue has been scheduled for Thursday, October 27.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says the meeting will review proposed improvements, such as resurfacing, the addition of a bi-directional left-turn lane, new shoulders, curbs, and gutters and a five foot sidewalk.
Handouts and display maps will be available for public viewing during IDOT's open house.
The meeting will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm at the City of East Peoria Festival Building.
