  SPRINGFIELD, Ill -- Illinois Transportation Secretary Ann L. Schneider announced Monday a new video series produced by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

• Drivers to encounter road work at Washington intersection

  PEORIA, Ill -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Friday that drivers will encounter flashing red signals in all directions at various points of the day September 11 at the intersection of US 24 and IL 8 in Washington.

• One lane at Pekin railroad crossing closed for repair

  PEORIA, Ill. -- One lane of IL 9 (Mararet Street) at the railroad crossing near 3rd Street in Pekin will be closed Wednesday, September 5 and Thursday, September 6.

• Lane reductions on University for water line repair

  PEORIA, Ill. -- A spokesperson from Illinois American Water says due to issues with main line valves, there will be lane reductions in effect on University in Peoria.

• IDOT to suspend non-emergency roadwork over holiday weekend

  SPRINGFIELD, Ill -- The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced Thursday that non-emergency roadwork will be suspended where possible to reduce congestion and improve traddic flow over Labor Day weekend.

• Pavement patching on I-39 to start September 10

  NORMAL, Ill. -- Roadwork on a section of I-39 may slow interstate traffic down, starting September 10.

• IDOT announces road construction in Peoria County

  PEORIA, Ill -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday that road construction work is under way at the interchange of IL 6 and IL 29 in Peoria County.

• Intersection in Sunnyland now open

  The intersection of IL 8 and School Street in Sunnyland is currently closed, due to temporary traffic signals at that location being damaged by a vehicle.
