Local organizations offer free Thanksgiving meals for tornado victims

WASHINGTON, Ill. – Several local churches and organizations are providing a free Thanksgiving meal for residents affected by the recent tornadoes.

 

- St. Mark’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner

   Thursday, November 28: noon - 2 p.m.

  Also invited are any first responders, utility workers, or volunteers who have assisted these families.

  If you want to donate, food can be dropped off between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at East Peoria High School door #1 (ask for Lori). Larger donations can be dropped at door #14 between 7:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (ask for Penny).
