WASHINGTON, Ill. -- The city of Washington has set a June 6 deadline for people to act on damaged property from the November tornado.

Sixteen homeowners have done seemingly nothing with their damaged homes.

If those resident don't reach out to the city before the June 6 deadline, they will face fines and could have their property turned over to the city.
