ANIME-ZAP comes to Peoria

The ANIME-ZAP convention is in Peoria this weekend. For a 20 dollar registration fee, anime fans can enjoy japanese animation, video games and more, but don't forget your costume.

The convention is featuring COS-PLAY, which involves coming dressed as your favorite character from a game or show and acting like them for the weekend.

"A lot of people just get together, because they hear about it and its always interesting because there is so much different type of anime out there, it attracts a lot of different variety of people," said, Project Executive, Jesse Larson.

If your interested, grab your costume and head out to the Holiday Inn City Center on 500 Hamilton Blvd. Registration Opens at 9am tomorrow and has activities scheduled until 4pm.
