PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Despite the rain, art lovers flocked to Tower park in Peoria Heights Saturday.
Close to 45 vendors from Illinois, Michigan and Missouri participated in the eighth annual Peoria Heights Art Fair. It was sponsored by the Peoria Heights Chamber of Commerce.
Co-Chairperson Nancy Davis said that there was a lot of variety at Saturday's fair. The exhibition was sponsored by the village's chamber of commerce.
Organizers say, that over the years fair goers have come to expect a wide variety of art.
Davis said, "We have photography, and glass work. We have jewelry. We have sculptures. We have yard art. We have mix media. We have wooden items, and also have scratch art. We have a wide variety of art work. "
The event ran until 5 p.m. Saturday.
