EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- The Salvation Army announced Thursday that the Bears won the overtime Bears vs. Packers Kettle Challenge.

Bears fans chipped in more than $510 at the Bass Pro Shop in East Peoria on Christmas Eve. Packers fans also did their part, donating more than $290 for the Tree of Lights campaign.

Last week, Packer fans grabbed the title by collecting the largest amount of money.

This was the first time in 19 years that the challenge went into overtime.
