PEORIA, Ill. -- The Peoria Chiefs are keeping up with the big leagues. Tuesday, a new high-end electronic video board system was installed at Dozer Park.

The TS Sports video board is 4.5 times larger than the former board. The primary video display is 28 feet high and 42 feet wide. The interactive board includes a radar gun with pitch speeds, social media applications and much more.

Chiefs President Rocky Vonachen said the new board will leave a lasting impression with fans.

"The quality of the shots that we put on, the stats we can put up there, information about the players, crowd shots, we can put fans up there so they can see themselves on the board; that is definitely going to increase the fan experience during the game,” said Rocky Vonachen, Peoria Chiefs President.

You can check out the board yourself, August 17, during the Chief's home-stand against Cedar Rapids. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. with post-game fireworks.
