MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill.-- Former McLean County State's Attorney Ronald Dozier is returning to the courtroom.
The McLean County Board voted 13 to 6 Tuesday morning, appointing Dozier as interim State's Attorney.
Dozier replaces Bill Yoder, who was recently appointed associate judge for the 11th Circuit and is expected to be sworn in on December 1st.
Dozier served as state's attorney from 1973 to 1987 before being appointed as 11th Circuit Judge. He retired from the position in 2006.
