PEORIA, Ill -- Two Peoria firefighters are injured following last night's fire at a vacant home.

According to our partners at News Radio 1470, around 8:30 last night, fire fighters were called to the home at 1824 North New York Avenue in Peoria. When they arrived, they were told someone might be inside.

Fire fighters quickly began knocking down the blaze. There is no word tonight on how the two fire fighters were injured, or their current conditions.

Fire fighters later learned the house was in fact vacant and had no working electricity or gas. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
