Garbage, garbage, garbage.
This is always the company's busiest week picking up garbage in residential areas.
They don't have to hire additional help for the season but employees find themselves working a few extra hours.
The large volume, the company says is probably due to kids and more families being home and also many missing trash day last week.
"This is a heavier week than normal so we estimate it to be about 90 - 100 tons more this week than what we do on a typical week throughout the year," said Joe Roberts, Peoria Disposal Company.
The Peoria Disposal Company says along with your regular garbage at the curb, you can get rid of your Christmas tree.
The last day for tree pick up is January 7th.
