Bloomington police are looking for a suspect in the attempted kidnapping of a 19 year old woman.

Police say the incident happened on Wednesday, August 3 at around 5:30 p.m. The 19 year old says she was approached by the man while walking home from O'Neil Park in Bloomington.

The victim told police she had just left a group of friends and was approached by a black man on Chestnut Street. The woman told police the man pulled up beside her and asked if she wanted a ride. She said she told the man no, but he drove further down the block and tried again this time grabbing at the victim's arms.

The woman then ran back to her friends and called police.

Police have released this composite sketch of the suspect and if you have any information in this case you can contact Det. John Atteberry at 434-2548.
