SAN DIEGO, Ca. -- There was a mishap at a fireworks show Wednesday night.
An estimated 500,000 people had come to the Port of San Diego to see the "big bay boom" fireworks spectacular.
The fireworks erupted in a huge explosion of color and noise at three different locations.
The problem was it was all of the fireworks going off at once, and while it lit up the sky, it lasted just 31 seconds.
The crowds were told that it was all over 20 minutes later.
On Thursday, the company which produced the show apologized and said a computer glitch sent out a signal which ignited all of the rockets at the same time.
The fireworks flop did become a hit on Youtube, with more than 600,000 hits by Thursday afternoon.
