It's the 11th annual national bubble wrap appreciation.

If you didn't observe it...that's ok.

Last week it was national "answer your cat's questions" day. We didn't do much with that either.

Oddly enough, the bubble-wrap lobby has more clout than the cat lobby apparently...because we got a video of people observing bubble wrap day by stomping on the plastic.

Good thing this isn't how that cat's day is celebrated.

Fun bubble wrap facts: bubble wrap was invented by two guys trying to make plastic wallpaper...which wasn't a success. They did, however, figure out that their wallpaper made a good wrapping paper...and parlayed their niine thousand dollar investment into a three-billion dollar a year corporation.

So, go ahead and stomp on bubble wrap, knowing that each little little "pop" signifies imaginative and creative thinking.

If it doesn't make a pop, you may have stepped on a cat.
