MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. -- Police are investigating the deaths of two people, an Illinois State University student and a former student.

Bloomington police discovered a man's body in a field near the intersection of Susan Drive and Jumer Drive around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

McLean County Coroner Beth Kimmerling later identified the victim as Yusuf J. Ahmad, 19.

Kimmerling said Yusuf's body showed no obvious signs of trauma and that he was not dressed appropriately for the cold.

On Sunday night, Ahmad's fraternity brothers held a candlelight vigil at the Delta Chi Fraternity house on Willow Street in Normal. According to the Fraternity president, Ahmad was not active with the group at the time of his death.

Meanwhile, in Normal police are investigating the death of Katie R. Borenstein, 20.

Borenstein was found dead inside an apartment at the Edge Apartments, 800 W. Hovey on Saturday night.

Police said Borenstein was not currently attending classes at ISU but did so last semester.

Autopsies on both of the victims are scheduled for Monday.
