BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- In McLean County, Candis Ethridge was sentenced to time served, 55 days in jail, and two years probation after she pleaded guilty to charges of endangering the life or health of a child.
Ethridge was charged in 2011 for complicity, after her three year old daughter Destiny Cox died. Ethridge left the child with David Gharrett, who faces murder charges for killing the little girl.
Gharrett was in court earlier this week after his attorney filed a motion to dismiss murder charges against him.
