The hospital turned their reusable vinyl billboards into bags that can be purchased in its gift shops.
On each bag you can see exactly which part of the billboard you're buying.
It's what OSF says is a new approach to going green.
Judy Winkler, Director of Marketing, said, "Usually Adams Outdoors would put them in a landfill somewhere, or donate them elsewhere, but we wanted to give them a little bit of life and re-purpose them. So, it's been a great program and received very good feedback."
The product is flying off the shelves.
In a matter of one week, OSF sold 110 of the 300 bags up for sale.
All proceeds from the sales go directly back to the hospital.
