The Peoria Police Department is asking the public’s help in finding an individual involved in a brutal robbery at Campustown that sent a female victim to the hospital.
On Saturday, November 6th, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Peoria Police
responded to an attempted armed robbery in the Campustown parking lot.
The victim was able to tell officers that she had left CVS and was walking to her car when she was approached by a black male who demanded her car keys and money.
Immediately after the suspect made his demands, he punched the female victim in the face and pulled out a shiny object that she
believed was a handgun.
The suspect then punched the female victim up to seven more times in
the face before fleeing north from the area and across Main Street.
The suspect has been identified as the man directly responsible for the attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.
The suspect's name is Frankie Stone, age 27, at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 205 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
