A 900 pound bronze statue of the 40th President of the United States is now on display at the airport that bears his name.

The 9 foot statue was unveiled Tuesday during a ceremony at the Ronald Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

The airport was named for the president in 1998.

Today, most people refer to the airport as "Reagan National". Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation officials say they raised more than $900,000 in private donations to pay for the statue.
