Robbery at Peoria Walgreen's

Peoria Heights police are looking for a many they say robbed a Walgreens early this morning.

A police spokeman says just after 3 AM, a white man in his early 20's entered the store to buy a pack of gum.

When the employee opened the cash register to give him change, he pulled a semi-automatic hand gun and demanded money.

Police say he reached over the counter and took off on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

So far no arrests have been made.
